A very much-requested feature for Tweetdeck has been worked out: How to search near a location. Here’s what you need to do:
To search ‘near’ a location in TweetDeck use the following “<query> geocode:<long>,<lat>,<radius><mi/km>” eg for Pancakes in 25 Mile Radius of London UK: “pancakes geocode:51,0,25mi”
